This two day hands-on workshop covers the basics of structural equation modeling. More specifically, we will cover path modeling, confirmatory factor analysis, latent variable structural equation modeling, mediation, moderation and comparison of competing models. You will find information regarding the workshop below.
Registration and payment can be made directly online. We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cheques and Email Transfers. Register now receive a free copy of Muthen and Muthen’s new book “Regression and Mediation Analysis Using Mplus.”

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning the basics of Structural Equation Modeling. While no prior software knowledge is required, participants are encouraged to have a working knowledge of multiple regression.
For this hands-on workshop we will be working with both Mplus and the Lavaan package for R (using R Studio). Please have either of these programs installed on your laptop prior to attending.
Handout materials and datasets will be provided.
Coffee and light snacks will be provided at the beginning of the workshop and at each break. Participants are on their own for lunch. There are plenty of locations to eat close to the hotel and in the hotel itself.
The workshop will be held at the Admiral Inn and Suites in Mississauga. The address and a Google map indicating the location can be found below.
If you are coming via GO Train, the Clarkson GO Station (on the Lakeshore Line) is 2.5 kilometres away. It is approximately 6 minutes by car/taxi, 16 minutes by bus and 30 minutes on foot.
If you wish to book a room at the hotel, please contact the hotel directly at 905-403-9777 or toll free at 1-866-236-4660 or through their Admiral Inn Mississauga website.
Scott Colwell, PhD is an associate professor at a major university in Ontario and is the co-founder of Enablytics. He has many years of experience teaching courses and workshops in research methods, applied statistics, and structural equation modeling to students from a variety of social, behavioural and health science disciplines.
Registration will continue until the workshop begins. If you need to cancel your registration, please contact us at email@example.com. Cancellations up to 15 business days prior to the event will be refunded at 100%. Cancellations between 10 and 14 days prior to the event will refunded at 50%.
