Scott conducted a two-day training on multi-level modeling for faculty and advanced graduate students in our School. Scott is a gifted statistician and educator--he communicated a difficult and complex analytic method in a way that was accessible and engaging. I have analyses in my research pipeline for which I am planning to use multi-level modeling. I am confident I can perform the analyses and interpret the results. I am also grateful that Scott provided an excellent bound booklet with the training and recommended some additional readings (I've already purchased the books!). These will all be useful in the upcoming analyses I plan to do.
